About us
The idea of growing and processing chili peppers came about after a trip to India, where I truly fell in love with spicy food. When I returned home, I realized that this niche was not sufficiently developed. As I became more interested in peppers, I realized that Latvia needed much wider availability of chili peppers, as well as a way to introduce and educate the public about this wonderful plant. As a result, I looked for places where I could buy chili peppers and started experimenting with production in my home kitchen in Andrejsala. Of course, there were many new emotions, both satisfaction and disappointment, and sometimes I even experienced complete failure. Everything was recorded in detail during the experiments - what was added and when, how much and in what proportions. When I gave the first successful products to people around me to taste, the feedback was very varied — some loved the product from the very first day, some needed some time to get used to it, some didn't like it, but in the end, demand grew to such an extent that it could no longer be called a hobby. Since I come from a farming family, I didn't have to think long and decided that I would grow the peppers myself to make the products.
Our company is involved in chili production from start to finish — we grow, process, and sell everything ourselves. We are new to this field, but we have big ambitions and goals. At the moment, we grow about 32 varieties of chili peppers, which allows us to produce around 43 different end products - 18 types of sauces (which are divided into mild, medium and very hot), 11 different marinades, several types of chili powders and even chili jams. We are also constantly developing new products.
Currently, everything is done in-house. Our motto when creating products is: Chili with a Latvian flavor. We want to produce products from raw materials that grow freely and are available right here in Latvia. We strive to create each product with an original flavor to make food uniquely delicious. Each product is inspired by a story from life, which is reflected in both its taste and name.
Our customers are people of all ages, from teenagers to the elderly. Some of them joke that our products have made them real chili addicts.
